Honor Flight has been embraced by theaters, schools, nonprofit organizations and corporations across the country. Thousands have already experienced this powerfully uplifting film and you can help us inspire millions more by hosting your own screening.

There are two options for hosting a screening in your own community and we provide everything you need to ensure it will be a success.

OPTION 1: Host a Screening at Your Local Theater with Tugg

OPTION 2: Host an Educational or Community Screening with Tugg
If you’re interested in setting up a screening at an educational institution, museum, place of worship or other organization that meets the necessary technical requirements, you can purchase a one-time license to screen the film. One-time licensing fees are priced according to the type of event sponsor and the size of the proposed screening. Some restrictions apply.

Each Community License Fee Includes:

  • Permission to Host a One-Time Film Screening (If you want to show Honor Flight more than once, you will need to purchase a license for each screening you host.)
  • Film formats available: DVD, Blu-Ray, or DCP of Honor Flight
  • Digital “Host a Screening” Kit (Press Kit, Flyer/Poster Digital Files)
  • Promotion of Your Screening on the Honor Flight Film Website 
  • Online Ticket Sales

License Pricing:

  • Educational Institution- (must be affiliated with or partner to host the screening with a K-12 school or College Institution) (Up to 1,000 Attendees) – $250
  • 15-100 Attendee Screening – $600
  • 101-1,000 Attendee Screening – $1,200 (Host a Screening Kit also includes printed posters)
  • Hosted Screening with Filmmaker Q&A – $3,000 (Director or Producer attend event and are available for remarks. A dedicated Freethink Media event coordinator will be made available for your event.)

  4. If I’m affiliated with an Honor Flight hub, do I get a discount? No, but Honor Flight hubs can purchase discounted copies of the DVD and resell them at local screenings. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact
  5. If we host a community screening, can we charge admission? Yes, but we ask that any proceeds you make after you recover your costs be donated to the local honor flight hub (of if you are part of We Honor Veterans, that the proceeds be split 50/50 with the honor flight hub and We Honor Veterans)
  6. Can I screen Honor Flight more than once? Of course! You can promote Honor Flight in the movie theater as many times as you want. If you would like to host a community screening, you will need to purchase a license for each event.
